I’ve seen οn TV аnԁ stuff ppl gο diving wіth јυѕt snorkels, bυt thеу take thе snorkels underwater. ԁο thеу hаνе ѕοmе kinda special snorkel thаt holds oxygen οr something οr whаt. Please hеƖр mе I want tο gο scuba diving soon аѕ a beginner bυt I need info.

   I’ve gone scuba diving only a few times and you do not use a snorkel, i have only used a snorkle when i went snorkeling. When you go scuba diving you have a mask and a big vest like thing and an oxygen tank. The tank isn’t as heavy when you get in the water. To go scuba diving you have to take a class first so don’t be nervous they will teach you how to tell when you are running low on oxygen and how to get water out of your mask and they will teach you hand signals to communicate with the others under water.

   No the snorkel has a one way valve so water doesnt go in but you just have to hold your breath.

   Scuba diving is awesome! u only need the snorkel if u wanna quicly jump in the water, like if you saw a pod of dolphins on the way back to shore in the boat u could just ask the boat to stop and go snorkel with the dolphins. i leave mine in the boat as it is a hastle to dive with it.

   What you are describing sounds more like free diving not scuba.

   With scuba diving you need special equipment such as a scuba set.
